In June 2025, we published the last episode of the first season of the SHiFT YRC Podcast, and we promised that we would come back with a new season and new insights to support the careers of our fellow young researchers and professionals!
Through twists and turns, brainstorming sessions, and little problems and delays along the way (but also rewarding moments, such as being recognised as one of the best practices developed by young researchers across the COST Actions in Europe) we are now more than happy to keep our promise and finally announce that Season 2 of the SHiFT YRC Podcast is out!
The voices of the podcast are our amazing interviewers, Silvia Chiarini and Irma Nugrahanti! However, behind the scenes, a great team works on guest booking, scriptwriting, video and audio editing, graphic design, technical production, episode distribution, and brainstorming new ideas. A huge thank you, therefore, also goes to Larissa Houston, Joana Ralão, Barbara Maria Frigione, and Alban Tufa, as well as to all the members of the YRC who have supported this activity.
In this first episode of the second season, our interviewers engage in an interesting conversation with Catarina Cadima, an architect and researcher at the Research Centre for Territory Transports and Environment (CITTA) in Porto (PT), holding a PhD in Spatial Planning.
